Fifth and Sixth Class have been very busy recently with some exciting activities. They paid a visit to UCC as part of the Junior Achievement Scheme. It was a great opportunity to visit the college and begin to think about what they might like to study there in the future. They look like serious scientists in the making in these photos. They are also involved in the ‘One Book, One Community’ Community Literacy Initiative. They attended the launch in Mayfield Library and are reading a book by the very popular author, Michael Murpogo. At this stage they are also very busy preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
