From third to sixth classes have had the opprortunuty to visit UCC this week and have a guided tour. In spite of the somewhat inclement weather these trips were very educational, interesting and worthwhile. The guide was excellent giving lots of interesting information. The girls got to see the ‘bothán’ which the Irish would have lived in many years ago, they saw the Ogham Stones in the Stone Corridor, got to sit and learn in the Aula Maxima and visit the Observatory. They also got to dress up in gowns and were presented with certs from their visit.Hopefully many of the girls who visited this week will find themselves there in the future as UCC students.
