Tuesday was another busy day in school with Junior Infants to First class on a school trip to Leahy’s farm (in the rain) and the Sixth Class Graduation. The tour was a great success in spite of all the rain as there is so much to do indoors. They even got the chance to milk a goat! The weather cleared in time to go to the maze and get a ride in the ‘train’.
Sixth class had a lovely graduation ceremony in the school hall which their families attended. They were awarded with certs, a beautiful photo frame with photos of their time in the school and also watched a slideshow of photos of their years in the school. This was followed by refreshments and of course, signing of their school blouses.
Today 9 wonderful boys from our Early Intervention ASD class celebrated their graduation from preschool.Parents, grandparents and family members arrived with excitement and anticipation to see their beautiful boys finish their first stage of their school life. The children were rewarded with certificates and presented with a big bag of goodies! We wish the boys all the very best as they move on their new schools.
