The Lord Mayor, Cllr Tony Fitzgerald visited the school today. He spoke to the girls about the chain of office which is 130 years old, about the importance of singing our national anthem to the very end and of what they can do to be healthier and have a better community to live in. The girls really engaged in the conversation and were very willing to contribute their ideas. The thing that everyone was really happy about is that he gave everyone a night off from homework.
