The Barber Cup tennis competition was held today in Sunday’s Well Tennis Club. As the holders, we were hopeful that the cup would return again but it was not to be this time. The girls lost by a single point in the final after putting in a teriffic performance. Considering that four of the girls are in fifth class we are confident that next year will see more success. After the competition the girls took a walk to see the newly reopened Fitzgeralds Park which was very impressive.
