The girls from third to sixth classes have been learning to play Spike-ball over the past couple of months. Don’t worry, they’re not playing with balls with spikes in them, it’s a game very similar to volleyball. Today they took part in a tournament in Mayfield Sports Complex and as well as playing lots of different matches some of the girls got the opportunity to umpire other games in the tournament. It was really exciting and as it was non-competitive they were able to enjoy themselves even more and really learn from the experience.
