In mid February we had a visit from Silver Linings from County Letrim who put on an amazing show with instruments, magic, dance and a stunning display of balance and balancing by Kate. Everyone was extremely impressed with the show.
Last Thursday was World Book Day. The girls from the senior classes had very pleasant reading sessions with the younger children. On Friday all the girls from first to sixth classes were taken to Easons in Patrick’s Street to select their book and to look at the books in the shop. This was great and the girls are really enjoying their books.
From first to sixth classes did a lot of work for the An Post handwriting competition and today the school prizewinners were given their prizes. The remarkable thing is the three Lee Russel sisters came first in their respective classes. Well done girls.
