The girls from third to sixth classes performed at the Tercentenery Celebration for Nano Nagle, founder of the Presentation Sisters, at the North Cathedral. They performed a number of instrumental pieces, sang a song and were part of the massed choir with the other Presentation schools on the northside. Their performance was outstanding and the amount of preparation, led by Ms O’Herlihy, that went into the performance was evident. In spite of the fact that the attendance at the event were asked not to applaud until the end, people applauded both the band and singing, such was the reaction of those who heard them. Well done girls. You did both yourselves and the school proud.
