It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved former staff member Trish McEnery. Trish was a member of the staff for twenty eight years and for most of that time taught the infant classes. The children absolutely adored their time with her and past pupils regularly mention the time spent with her as being such a happy time filled with wonderful memories.
Trish was a native of Ballina, Co Mayo where her untimely death took place. She had planned being back in Cork for our staff night out and for the 6th class graduation as her connection to the school was still very strong. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Our sympathy goes to her son Eoghan who was a regular visitor to the school at a young age.
We will attend mass at 9.45am on Friday morning in her honour and parents and past pupils who would like to join us in her memory are most welcome.
