Today we were visited by the Lord Mayor Cllr Mary Shields. The children were decked out in their red and white decorations and entertained her with singing and dancing. She spoke to the children about the chain of office, what it is like to be Lord Mayor and how much she enjoys visiting schools. She talked about spreading happiness with a simple smile and advised the girls to share their worries with a grown up that they can trust. We are greatful the Lord Mayor for her words of wisdom.
