Third class were so lucky to be chosen to take part in Junior Achievement for six lessons where they learnt about Our City. They got involved in planning a city, the different zones for industries, residential, business and multipurpose. They made buildings and through discussion placed them in the correct zones. They looked at roads and bridges and tested the strength of bridges. They became newspaper reporters and wrote articles for a newspaper about the city. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Cathal from Gas Networks Ireland.
