The holidays have arrived but not before a very busy week. The previous post showed the Infants tour to Fota. Since then Fifth and Sixth classes had a wonderful day in Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and First and Second Class thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Fota.
Sixth Class had their Graduation Mass and Awards Ceremony and there was a great turnout of parents and relations. It was a particularly lovely occasion with mixed emotions of excitement at the new chapter the girls face in their lives and sadness at leaving St Brendan’s.
Today, awards for attendance, Merit Awards and swimming medals were presented to many of the children. Strawberries, peas and lettuce were picked in the school garden and sampled by the children. It was nice to be able to taste the fruits of their labour.
