Today Ellen Murphy from An Taisce was our guest to raise our second Green Flag. Ellen has been very supportive in our work towards gaining our flags and she explained the symbols on the flag to the children and parents who gathered for the occasion. There were lots of willing hands to help Ellen to raise the flag.
It was a double celebration as the runners who won a total of eleven trophies and the cup at the city sports yesterday were also recognised.
It was a busy day as earlier the whole school had loads of activities with the opportunity to enjoy six different activities including skipping, tennis, swingball, parachute fun, rounders and football.
