The First and Second class girls had a great Science session with the help of the ‘tutors’ from fifth and sixth class. The theme was Forces and they girls took part in a number of experiments including making gliders, learning about velocity and resistance, predicting what would happen when nightlights are covered with various size jam jars, learning about the force of wind and some surprising balloon experiments. The girls in the role of tutors were excellent and all the participants really enjoyed learning so many new science facts.
