On Friday the 11th, the girls from third to 6th classes went on a school tour to Dublin. The first stop was Croke Park where they got a guided tour and got to go right to the top of one of the stands and create an echo all around the stadium. It was vertigo inducing!!
Next stop was the GPO. Half the group went to Supermacs for lunch while the others had a guided tour of the GPO including a video. There was a swop over for the next hour. The rain teamed out of the heavens when we were getting back to the bus but thankfully the rain had eased off by the time we got to Dublin Zoo. The zoo was very enjoyable but there was general agreement that Fota is much better and the animals have so much more space.
