Shona, in fourth class, has inspired everyone with her truly generous deed. She got her very beautiful, very long hair, cut for the Rapunzel charity who make wigs for children suffering from cancer.
Shona was touched by clips she saw on You Tube and started thinking about how lucky she is and how she would like to help others who are not so lucky. She talked to her parents and after thinking a while longer she decided to share her hair.
When she was in the salon having her hair cut some people there began to cry as they were so touched by this act of generosity. Everyone is admiring her beautiful new haircut and praising her thoughtfulness. Shona is delighted with her new look too.
