Parents play an extremely important role in St Brendan’s. We always appreciate the fact that parents give of their time and talents for so many different activities.
Some of the activities include; helping younger children with computers, cookery classes, Maths For Fun, Science for Fun, Language and Literacy activities, Christmas decorations etc.
The girls love to see their parents coming into the classroom and they gain so much from this involvement.
Parents also have the opportunity to attend classes and courses either in St Brendan’s or in St Mark’s, our neighbouring boys’ school. The artwork produced in the recent Art and Crafts course was really impressive with delicate silk paintings, pretty pastels, colourful glasswork and handmade jewellery on display at the finish.
